Online Therapy for Overwhelmed Teens & Adults in Washington

What if there’s more to your story?

The people-pleasing, the burnout, the brain that never slows down.
Let’s see the whole picture, so you can respond to life on your terms.

Your Patterns Make Sense. Let’s Find Out Why.

Maybe you became the one who handles it. Maybe you’ve always felt a step behind, no matter how hard you try. Maybe it’s both. Either way, you’re probably exhausted.

The people-pleasing, the overthinking, the brain with 14 tabs open: none of it came out of nowhere. Some of it still helps. Some of it never got the memo that it’s okay to rest. Therapy is about connecting the dots and finding your patterns, so you can decide what to keep and what to change.

Ready to connect the dots? Let’s start with a free consultation.

Who I Work With

You are not “too sensitive” or “lazy,” and you are not failing.

Being the dependable one, or working twice as hard just to keep up, is usually a skill you learned early. It worked. It just never came with an off switch. Therapy isn’t about turning you into someone who stops caring. It’s about understanding how you’re wired, saying no without the guilt, and putting your energy where it actually matters.

Sound familiar?

  • You say yes before you’ve checked if you have anything left

  • You’re the one everyone calls (or texts), but no one asks how you’re doing

  • Rest feels like something you have to earn, and you feel guilty when you take it

  • You’ve always felt a step behind, no matter how hard you try

  • You know what everyone else needs but struggle to name what you want

  • You’re tired in a way a weekend doesn’t fix

  • Your brain won’t slow down at night, but focusing during the day feels impossible

Kim Heming, LMHCA Online Therapist in Washington

Hi! I’m Kim.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor associate offering online therapy across Washington. Before this, I spent 20+ years as an educator, including public classroom teaching, school counseling, and homeschooling, which means chaos doesn’t faze me. I’ve helped kids, teens, and families make sense of ADHD, both in schools and at my own kitchen table.

I’m also the parent of a son with a disability, so I know what it’s like to be the one holding everything together, usually while discussing our latest school project on our way to a medical appointment.

My style is warm and practical, with a touch of humor. I’m EMDR-trained and working towards my certification. And I promise never to tell you to “just say no” and wish you luck. (If it were that easy, you’d have done it by now.)
