Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most therapy sessions are 53 minutes long. Initial intake sessions are slightly longer to allow time to discuss your history, goals, and any questions you may have.

  • At this time I offer secure, HIPAA compliant video/telehealth sessions throughout Washington state.

    Walk-and-talk sessions on the Key Peninsula may be available for established clients when clinically appropriate.

  • Consultation calls are a chance for us to briefly connect, discuss what brings you to therapy, and determine whether we may be a good fit.

    You are welcome to ask questions about the therapy process, scheduling, or my approach. There is no pressure or obligation to move forward afterward.

  • Yes. I work with teens ages 13 and older, as well as adults.

  • Starting therapy can feel vulnerable or even intimidating, especially if this is your first experience with counseling.

    There is no “right” way to begin. We move at a pace that feels supportive and comfortable for you.

  • A limited number of reduced-fee sliding scale appointments are available based on financial need and current availability.
